The Fishing Trip
It was March 2001, and what better way to spend 5 days than to go
fishing at Cape Don.
Cape Don is 200 Km north east of Darwin, on the north west side of Arnhem Land and is situated on the most north tip of Australia.
The area is known for it's diverse range of sports fishing, your choices are endless.
The Cape
Don Homestead - Very Cosy......by the way...Where's BOB?
Our humble abode.
Cape Don is the site of a historic lighthouse built in 1916 which
is still in operation today. The accomadation is within the newly
renowated Head Lighthouse Keeper's homestead and is fitted with modern
facilities.....and heaps of fridges to keep the drinks cold...yes!!!
